W&S Foundation Charity Opens Pop-Up Community Shop for Recycling Week at Drayton HWRC

W&S Foundation Charity is excited to announce the launch of a Pop-Up Community Shop at Drayton Household Recycling Centre in Oxfordshire, running across Recycling Week 2025.

The shop will open its doors on the following date:
Sunday 26th October – 10am to 2pm

Located within the Drayton HWRC, the shop will give local residents the chance to pick up pre-loved items, discover quality household goods at affordable prices, support the W&S Foundation’s ongoing charity work, and bring along items they think could be re-used.

Supporting Recycling Week and the Local Community

Recycling Week is an annual campaign led by Recycle Now (WRAP), designed to inspire people to recycle more and waste less. This year, W&S Foundation is proud to join the movement with a unique pop-up initiative that not only encourages reuse but also strengthens community connections.

All proceeds from the shop will support W&S Foundation projects, which focus on delivering social value, environmental improvements, and community benefits across Oxfordshire and beyond.

Why Visit the Pop-Up Community Shop?

  • Affordable finds: From homeware to books and small household goods, items are carefully selected from donated and reusable stock.
  • Positive impact: Every purchase helps reduce waste, extend product lifecycles, and support the local community.
  • Local focus: Targeting Drayton and surrounding areas, the shop encourages residents to take part in sustainable living close to home.
